Routine lab tests are crucial for monitoring your health and establishing a baseline for your well-being. Knowing these baseline levels helps you track changes over time. Our Annual Health Check Panel provides essential insights for proactive health management. It includes tests commonly ordered during annual physical exams, covering blood counts, kidney and liver function, electrolytes, cholesterol, triglycerides, hemoglobin A1c, and thyroid function. This comprehensive panel aids in understanding and improving your overall health.

The High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (CRP) test measures the level of CRP, a protein that indicates inflammation, and is specifically designed for cardiac assessment. This test helps evaluate the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and identifies the likelihood of heart-related issues or potential heart attacks. For the most accurate assessment, it's recommended to take the test twice, typically two weeks apart, and average the results. Elevated CRP levels can indicate infections or various chronic diseases but do not specify the location or cause of the inflammation, requiring further tests for detailed diagnosis.

Diabetes, a chronic condition affecting blood sugar levels, occurs when the body either doesn't use insulin properly or doesn't produce enough of it. Insulin, produced by the pancreas, helps sugar (glucose) from food enter cells for energy. When insulin is insufficient or ineffective, glucose stays in the blood instead of reaching the cells. Our Diabetes Management Panel includes four tests that provide critical information for monitoring and managing diabetes treatment, suitable for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

The Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) test measures the level of FSH, a hormone produced by the pituitary gland. In women, FSH is responsible for egg production and the release of estradiol during the menstrual cycle's initial phase. In men, FSH stimulates sperm production.

The Glucose (Serum) Test, also known as the Fasting Blood Glucose Test, is used to diagnose hyperglycemia (high blood sugar), hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), and diabetes. This test is routinely performed annually by healthcare providers and during pregnancy. Individuals with diabetes also use this test to self-monitor their blood glucose levels multiple times a day.

The Hemoglobin A1c Test provides an average blood glucose level over the past 2-3 months. This test is essential for identifying pre-diabetes, diagnosing diabetes, and monitoring diabetes management effectiveness in individuals with the condition.

The Testosterone, Free (Direct), Serum with Total Test measures both free and total testosterone levels in your bloodstream. Testosterone is crucial for sexual characteristics and development, with levels peaking around age 40. This test offers insights into your overall testosterone levels.

The Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test assesses the production of TSH, which regulates energy through the thyroid gland. This test screens for thyroid diseases such as hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism. Symptoms of hypothyroidism include fatigue, weight gain, and cold intolerance, while hyperthyroidism may cause weight loss, vomiting, and a fast heart rate. The Thyroid Panel includes:

The Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPO) test evaluates thyroid function by measuring key hormones like TSH, T4, and T3. This test helps diagnose thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Thyroid imbalances can lead to conditions like osteoporosis, heart disease, infertility, and fatigue, especially in women during pregnancy or aging.
